"Aha" Moment

An aha moment for me was technology is here and it is in our best interest as educators to maximize on it for the learner's experience.  Technology is advancing rapidly and we can be part of it or be left on the sidelines.  Whether it is gaming or as basic as information search strategies, it challenges us to be creative and innovative and useful in engaging not only millennials but all learners.  (Imel) puts it well by saying that adult educators may once may have been able to ignore the educational applications of technology, but that is no longer the case because these tools can support and advance the goals of the learner.
